Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is turning out to be a success story and rest assured, there would be a lot heard and written about the horror-comedy in days to come. After taking a very good opening of Rs. 14.11 crores on Friday, the film went on to gain further momentum on Saturday as Rs. 18.34 crores more came in. The growth has been consistent across the board and the best part is that since the word of mouth is positive, Sunday is going to see a similar growth been seen, something that has been missing in action when it comes to film releases over the last so many weeks.
The film's growth so far shows all over again that it is never about whether the film is coming from Bollywood, Hollywood, or the south; it's always about whether a film has been entertaining enough for the audiences. When it does that core job right, audiences nod in approval and that's turning out to be the case with this Kartik Aaryan starrer as well. The guy has followed an unpretentious attitude when it comes to providing entertainment for the family audiences on the big screen, something that was seen in his past list of successes as well. So far, the film has collected Rs. 32.46 crores and it is now a given that the Rs. 50 crores milestone would be crossed by the time the opening weekend is through. Anees Bazmee has delivered a good success for Bollywood and now it has to be seen how much bigger it turns out to be once the weekday consolidation begins.
