There were high expectations from Akshay Kumar's Boss which released last week. While in the last week's edition of Box Office Report Card, we looked at the Opening Day collections of the film, today we analyze the Opening Weekend collections of Boss.
Like last week, again, we compare Boss against Akshay' previous releases on one hand, while on the other, we compare the film's collections to the Top 10 Grossers of 2013.
In comparison to Akshay's recent releases, Boss has done better than all of his previous releases on the Opening Weekend, collecting Rs. 40.75 cr.
On the other hand, Boss ranks 5th on the list of Top Opening Grossers of 2013.
Surprisingly, while Ranbir Kapoor's recent release Besharam, which also had a five day weekend like Boss, received less than favourable reviews from critics and audiences alike, it still ranks a notch above Boss.
