Yesterday, we carried an analytical report comparing the recent two releases - Nikhil Advani's D-Day and Prabhu Dheva's Ramaiya Vastavaiya. While according to the charts that graphed both film's progress considering the Opening Day, Opening Weekend collections, it was RV that emerged as the winner.
However, the dangerous Monday that most filmmakers fear, seems to have worked in the favour of D-Day. In fact according to the latest figures, D-Day managed to collect a total of Rs. 3.5 crore as compared to Ramaiya Vastavaiya that managed Rs. 3 crore.
With these new figures D-Day certainly received a shot in the arm managing to close the gap with a cumulative collection of Rs. 17.19 cr while Ramaiya Vastavaiya stands at Rs. 18.30 cr.
