Good days are continuing at the Box Office for Bollywood films. Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran had yet another stable day as Rs. 3.81 crore came on Tuesday. This is yet another good hold after Monday had brought in Rs. 4.10 crore. The film will hopefully stay on to be over Rs. 3.50 crore mark today as well as tomorrow which would set it up well in a good position.
The current total for the film is Rs. 28.69 crore and that is better than what one would have expected before the release. As a matter of fact at one point in time it had seemed that this could well be the collections over the entire first week. However, good numbers are being generated by this Abhishek Sharma directed film which has found appreciation from the audience that it was catering to.
I personally also believe that the film deserves a tax free status for itself. It is a very relevant story and that too from the recent past. While we talk about history to be narrated to the current generation, this is indeed an important chapter that needs to be told to one and all. If the tax free status has to come, it has to come real quick by the coming weekend itself so that maximum audiences can benefit out of it.
