Not surprisingly, Sultan has taken the top slot as the Highest Opening Day grosser of 2016 collecting Rs. 36.54 cr at the box-office. In fact Sultan has managed to overtake the previously released Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan that collected Rs. 19.2 cr by a massive margin, while the multi starrer Housefull 3 takes the third spot with collections of Rs. 15.21 cr.
