Box Office: Stree becomes the 5th highest third week grosser of 2018

The Rajkummar Rao – Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree released a while back. Directed by debutant Amar Kaushik the horror comedy was welcomed by the audience with open arms. After opening on a high note the business of the film continued to see good growth as the weeks progressed.

In this box office report we take a look at the collections of Stree in its third week while comparing the same to previous releases of 2018 that have managed to reach their third week in cinemas. Collecting Rs. 17.14 cr Stree has managed to claim the fifth spot on the list as the 5^th highest third week grosser of 2018. Interestingly, despite its stellar run at the box office Stree does not manage to surpass the third week collections of the previously released film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that had collected Rs. 17.93 cr. Apart from this film, the other releases that hold the top three slots are Padmaavat that collected Rs. 31.75 cr, Sanju that collected Rs. 31.63 cr and Raazi that collected Rs. 18.21 cr.

As of now with new releases hitting screens Stree that is all but run its course at theatres is still expected to add a few more crores to its overall collections.
