After collecting Rs. 24.11 crores in its opening weekend, Kabir Khan and Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion has collected Rs. 6 crores on the first Monday taking 4 day total collections to Rs. 30 crores. The collections of Monday were boosted by the Bakri Eid Holiday, however, with the glowing word of mouth, the 4th day total should have been around the Rs. 8 crore mark.
Chandu Champion will now be targetting week one total of Rs. 40 crores. The numbers are on the lower side and the eyes are now to see if Chandu Champion can reach a respectable total in the long run. The film is continuing to do well in the metros, as the mass belts are not really coming on board the film.
The Friday to Sunday jump was encouraging, despite the overall result. All eyes on Tuesday test now!
