The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl 2 showed a good jump in collections on Sunday as well. The business went up by approximately 15 percent on the third day as compared to Day 2. According to early estimates, Dream Girl 2 has collected in the range of Rs. 16.25 to 17 crores on the third day, taking the total collections to Rs. 41.25 crores.
Dream Girl 2 has seen a jump in business all across the board - be it the single screens or the multiplexes. Dream Girl 2 is a breather for Ayushmann Khurrana, whose last 3 to 4 releases refused to even take a start at the box office. Being a franchise film with a little slapstick feel, Dream Girl 2 has managed to get the audience in tier 2 and 3 centers excited, and the same is reflected in the collections.
Just a routine hold in collections on Monday and a generic trend will take the film in the North of Rs. 80 crores, which is good enough to get the successful tag at the box office. At the moment, the odds are favoring Dream Girl 2.
