The Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar was released a week ago. After immense hype and promotions, the film failed to establish a connection with the audience and managed to draw in just Rs. 3.25 cr on opening day. Following this, the business of Jayeshbhai Jordaar continued to remain low on its first Saturday and Sunday, managing to draw in Rs. 12 cr over its opening weekend.
In this box office report, we look at the collections of Jayeshbhai Jordaar in its first week while comparing the same to previous releases of 2022. Collecting Rs. 14.95 cr, Jayeshbhai Jordaar manages to become the tenth highest opening week grosser of 2022. Not surprisingly, Jayeshbhai Jordaar did not find acceptance in mass-dominated single screen sectors, as well as multiplex dominated metros, and has struggled at the box office to post decent collection totals. This coupled with the fact that previous releases like KGF – Chapter 2 and the Marathi along with the film Dharmaveer have greatly damaged the business prospects of Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
