The Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 which was released three weeks ago has been doing brisk business at the box office. After crossing not just the Rs. 100 cr and Rs. 200 cr mark the film has now made it past the Rs. 400 cr mark as well.
In this box office report, we look at the third-week collections of KGF – Chapter 2 while comparing the same to previous releases of 2022 that have made it this far. Not surprisingly, KGF 2 which has collected Rs. 49.14 cr in week three, has now become the highest third-week grosser of 2022. In fact, the business of the film in its third week has surpassed the collections of previous releases like RRR which collected Rs. 38.20 cr, The Kashmir Files which collected Rs. 30.95 cr, Gangubai Kathiawadi which collected Rs. 16.25 cr, and Jhund which collected Rs. 1.25 cr.
As of now, KGF – Chapter 2 still runs in theatres with the audience patronizing the film, however, with the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the business of KGF 2 is expected to see a decline.
