The Akshay Kumar starrer Khel Khel Mein showed a huge drop at the box office on the second day as the estimates indicate second-day collection in the range of Rs. 1.70 crore. With this, the two-day total of Khel Khel Mein stands at Rs. 7 crores. The film started low on Independence Day, but there was some hope of sustenance as the reports were not bad. But the film recorded a huge fall on Friday putting a question mark on the fate of the film.
The film will end its run in India with the lifetime business around Rs. 40 crore mark, and that too with a prolonged holiday period, and a 6-week clear run.
The John Abraham film, Vedaa, has also recorded an epic fall in business on Friday as estimates indicate second-day business in the range of Rs. 1.50 crores. The film is now neck to neck with Khel Khel Mein, but that doesn't paint a good picture as even Vedaa is headed to emerge a disaster. The two-day total of Vedaa stands at Rs. 8.25 crores. Stree 2 has toppled both the films by a huge margin.
