Despite releasing alongside another big ticket Bollywood entertainer Batla House, Mission Mangal that received positive reviews from the audience and critics alike has managed to emerge as a massive money spinner.

In this box office report, we take a look at the opening weekend collections of Mission Mangal while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 97.56 cr, Mission Mangal has emerged as the second highest opening weekend grosser of 2019, preceded by the Salman Khan film, Bharat that had raked in Rs. 158.65 cr. Currently, Mission Mangal continues to run to packed houses and is expected to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark later today. Now all that remains to be seen is whether the film goes on to become one the highest opening week grossers of the year.
