Yet another day, yet another major milestone for Mission Mangal. The film has now crossed the Rs. 175 crores mark, what with Rs. 3.25 crores* more coming on Wednesday. The film has been staying over the Rs. 3 crores mark on a daily basis and that is adding on to its (already) healthy total.
The Akshay Kumar led affair currently stands at Rs. 175.03 crores*. It should bring in around Rs. 3 crores more today which would take the total in the vicinity of Rs. 178 crores. There are a good number of shows that have been retained for the Jagan Shakti directed film in the third week as well, what with many major multiplexes giving it an entire screen as well for the entire day. That should result in at least Rs. 10 crores more to be added in the third week despite the release of Saaho.
While that would ensure that the lifetime number of 2.0 (Hindi) – Rs. 189.55 crores - would be surpassed, it would be really exciting to see what happens post that.
