RRR Box Office: SS Rajamouli does it again; film crosses Rs. 1000 cr. gross at worldwide box office

With RRR crossing the worldwide gross Rs. 1000 cr. mark the film has managed to become director SS Rajamouli’s second directorial to achieve this feat. In fact, Rajamouli’s previous directorial Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion had managed this feat with around Rs. 800 cr. gross coming from the domestic market and a further Rs. 200+ cr. from the overseas markets, the film had become the first Indian production to achieve this. If that was not enough, besides becoming Rajamouli’s second film to achieve Rs. 1000 cr, RRR has become the lead actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR’s highest grossing film ever.

With RRR, raking in Rs. 1000 cr gross, both Ram Charan and Jr. NTR will be making their debut in the highly exclusive Rs. 1000 cr. club. As for the business of the film, with little to no competition, the collections of RRR are expected to continue to hold stead. In fact, trade predicts that the collections of the film could even see an increase over its third weekend running.
