The partial holiday of Eid helped collections of Super 30 stay good on Monday as well, what with Rs. 1 crore* more coming in. This is wonderful since Friday was Rs. 0.56 crores and Saturday was Rs. 1.13 crores, which means Monday collections are quite close to that of Saturday.
With this, the overall numbers of Super 30 now stand at Rs. 145.73 crores* and it is expected that the total would be closer to the Rs. 147 crores mark before Independence Day releases Mission Mangal and Batla House take over. It would be tough though for the Hrithik Roshan, Vikas Behl and Sajid Nadiadwala film to accumulate 3 crores more from here on considering the competition ahead. Hence it would be an interesting chase for sure.
That said, the film has over-performed as even after the first week, it had seemed that the maximum stretch would be towards the Rs. 130 crores mark. The fact that it is still going on and on is testimony of some wonderful word of mouth doing the trick for Super 30.
