After playing at theatres for six weeks, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke has now crossed Rs. 87.50 crores mark. It currently stands at *Rs. 87.54 crores, what with the weekdays staying steady as well, albeit on the lower side.
The film is collecting all the bonus numbers coming its way and hence, even these few lakhs matter. There is massive competition in the form of Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning: Part One. On the other hand, Bollywood’s own Satyaprem Ki Katha has taken the lead for last couple of weeks. As a result, the Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer is playing at a very few screens and shows. However, these are just optimal as majority of those who had to catch the film have already done that.
Coming week will see the release of Oppenheimer and Barbie, which means there would be further impact on the showcasing, and then a week later it would be time for Bollywood’s biggie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani to arrive. Still, Rs. 1.5-2 crores more should come for the Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Utekar film in its lifetime. This would help Zara Hatke Zara Bachke stretch past the Rs. 89 crores mark, though it may just fall a bit short of Rs. 90 crores gross milestone in the final tally.
