B.O. update: ‘Black Friday’ starts slow

By Bollywood Hungama

Call it a coincidence, the two films that opened this week -- BLACK FRIDAY and UNDERTRIAL -- are based on real-life incidents.

BLACK FRIDAY: Adlabs have released 128 prints in India [includes 21 Digital], targeting the film at multiplexes mainly and a few single screens. A limited release, the film has also opened in limited shows across the country. The opening was 20%-25%, but the word of mouth is extremely positive and the industry is hopeful that the business will show an upward trend on Saturday and Sunday. In Overseas, Adlabs has released 10 prints in U.S.A. and 3 in South Africa.

UNDERTRIAL: Released with 97 prints in India [includes 40 Digital], the silver lining is that the film is being liked by the viewers. In fact, the pre-release buzz was as good as nil, but the positive reports should help consolidate its position in days to come. The second half has been appreciated tremendously!
