Last week, NAMASTEY LONDON brought some cheer. But the three releases of this week – DELHII HEIGHTS, KHANNA & IYER and SAY SALAAM INDIA – took the industry back to Square One. The opening day response was dull.
Meanwhile, NAMASTEY LONDON is holding exceptionally well in North. As for THE NAMESAKE, UTV has added 12 prints in West and South [Ahmedabad, Baroda, Bangalore, Hyderabad], besides opening up North [Chandigarh and Kanpur] on Friday. Total number of prints has gone from 48 in week 1 to 59 in week 2.
