Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan and others pay heartfelt respects to late Krishna Raj Kapoor

Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of the legendary filmmaker and actor Raj Kapoor, passed away on Monday morning, October 1 in Mumbai. Krishna Raj Kapoor was 88 years old and passed away around 5 am in the morning. The news was confirmed by the eldest son Randhir Kapoor as he said, "My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest...old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise.”

Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, shared a picture of her mom Neetu Singh and grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor with a farewell message that read, “I love you, I will always love you, RIP Dadi”.

Bollywood celebrities including Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan and many others took to social media to pay last respects to Krishna Raj Kapoor.

If Raj Kapoor was an institution in film making, Krishnaji was an institution in living life.
A very sad loss to all of us.
My love and warmth to Randhirji, Rishiji, Chimpuji, Reema, Rituji and everyone in the family.
