On the occasion of her 50th birthday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was in for a surprise when her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, delivered a moving speech in her honour. The actress, who has always been private about her personal life, was visibly touched by her daughter's words.
Aaradhya's speech was a heartfelt tribute to her mother's dedication to her family and her philanthropic work. In a viral video, Aaradhya can be seen saying, “I feel that what my darling, my life, my mom is doing is truly important and truly wonderful. It’s truly enriching and fulfilling. It’s helping the world, it’s helping everyone around us, it’s helping people and I just want to say, what you are doing is truly incredible.”
The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress was visibly moved by her daughter's speech. She confessed that her words were unexpected and that she was proud of the young woman she had become. Aaradhya's speech was met with applause from the audience.
For the event, the former Miss World sported a chikankari salwar suit while Aaryadha opted for a casual look in a white shirt, paired with blue pants.

Speaking of the video, besides the mother-daughter duo, no one from the Bachchan family was visible. However, Abhishek Bachchan took to his social media handle and dedicated a post to Aish. He shared a monochrome of Aishwarya and wrote, “Happy Birthday!,” followed by a red-heart and Nazar Amulet emojis.

Coming to the professional front, the 50-year-old actress was last seen in the Mani Ratnam directorial Ponniyin Selvan: II. The period drama was released this year in April.
