Kasoor promises a captivating blend of genres, combining musical romance with horror. Directed by Glen Barretto and written by Mudassar Aziz, the film has generated excitement with its unique concept. Producer Asif Shaikh elaborated on the film's distinctiveness, stating, "It's a very unique concept—a musical romance horror. When Aftab heard the story, he was excited about the subject."

Aftab Shivdasani will be playing the lead role in Kasoor, with actress Urvashi Rautela confirmed for the cast. The announcement of the remaining lead roles is expected soon.
