Defence Minister of India and Deputy Leader of the House Lok Sabha Rajnath Singh praised actor Ajay Devgn's efforts in making an excellent movie to honor the unsung heroes of India. The defence minister met Ajay Devgn to congratulate him on making a film on the Indian Armed forces.
Rajnath Singh took to his Twitter handle and tweeted about his meeting with the Bhuj: The Pride of India star. He posted their meetup picture and wrote, "Met with renowned Hindi Film actor @ajaydevgn today. He is a wonderful actor and a good human being. He has made a film depicting the heroic efforts of the Indian Armed Forces during the 1971 war. I wish him success in his future endeavours".

Ajay Devgn who is currently basking in the glory of his movie Bhuj: The Pride of India also posted his experience of meeting with defence Minister Rajnath Singh. He uploaded a picture with him on his Twitter handle and wrote, "Honoured to meet the Honourable Minister of Defence, India, Shri Rajnath Singh ji. He saw some clips of Bhuj: The Pride of India. For me, it was a befitting platform to showcase the film, that captured India’s victory over Pakistan 50 years ago. Jai HindFolded hands @rajnathsingh".

The meeting took place in New Delhi on August 13, and Rajnath Singh gave a thumbs up to Bhuj: The Pride of India and claimed that he has watched certain clips from the movie. Bhuj: The Pride Of India is a story of an IAQ Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik who rebuilt an IAF airbase with 300 women of Madhapar village during 1971 Indo-Pak war. It stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Ammy Virk, and Sharad Kelkar in main roles. Directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya Bhuj: The Pride Of India is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
