Ajay has a promise from Sajid : Bollywood News

It is a known fact that before the beginning of every film, Sajid Khan makes one written promise to his actors which always read - 'Welcome to your biggest blockbuster'. Hence it isn't quite a surprise that a similar promise has been made to Ajay Devgn as well for Himmatwala.

"Right from his first film Heyy Babyy to Housefull and then Housefull 2, Sajid made it a point to write a personalized note to each of his lead actors. He did that with Akshay Kumar and the promise was indeed kept when each of these three films turned out to be his biggest ever till that time. Ditto for Riteish Deshmukh and Asin who have enjoyed their best commercial success with his films. Now before the kick-start of shooting for Himmatwala, he wrote the same note to Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia as well", informs a source.

For Ajay Devgn, this clearly indicates yet another film in the 100 crore club since he already has four centuries to his name with Son of Sardaar, Bol Bachchan, Singham and Golmaal 3. Amongst these Golmaal 3 is the highest at 105 crores.

"Sajid is confident that Himmatwala would go far ahead of that mark", the source continues, "He committed that to Ajay even before a single frame of Himmatwala was shot. As for Tamannaah, the target is to go past her many hits from down South and also establish her firmly in Bollywood."
