On January 17 this year, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna completed 22 years of togetherness.

Celebrity couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are celebrating their 22nd marriage anniversary today. On the special day, Akshay took to Instagram to wish his wife. Unlike his birthday wish for Tina, Akki shared an adorable post for their special day.

In the candid photo, the couple can be seen dressed in traditional outfits. While AK is seen in a white kurta-pyjama, Twinkle looks stunning in a pink saree. Instagramming the photo, Kumar wrote a short yet sweet caption, which read, “Two imperfect people who have perfectly been stuck together since twenty-two years! Happy anniversary Tina.”

A bunch of Khiladi Kumar’s Instagram followers flooded the comments section with anniversary wishes for the couple. “The sweetest couple,” wrote a user while another commented, “King & Queen.” Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty, B Praak, Lara Dutta Bhupathi, and Hansa Singh, among others, also wished the couple.

For the unversed, currently, the couple is in the UK as Twinkle has pursued a course in fiction writing. A day before, Twinkle had posted a video on her Instagram handle, which featured Akshay and their daughter Nitara. In the video, Nitara and Akshay were seen dressed in winter attires and enjoying boating in the middle of a lake.

Meanwhile, Twinkle also shared a post on her verified social media handle to wish Akshay. She penned down a note of appreciation for him. She posted a glimpse of a card picked by Akshay for her and recalled how she once told him that she would never marry him. Her caption read, "Only he could have got me this card! / 22 years and it feels like our 2nd anniversary / It's been over two decades and we have built a life that encompasses two children, our extended families, work, friends, dogs, a few goldfish, independence and stability. / I suppose you don't have to be alike to make it work. You just have to like each other enough."

Coming to the professional front, the 55-year-old actor was last seen in Ram Setu, which was released in October 2022. He will be next seen in Selfiee, co-starring Emraan Hashmi.
