In Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Alia Bhatt gets to play a media person for the first time. And she is very excited.

Ahead of her media interactions on the film, a source revealed, “It is a first for Alia on many levels. For the first time, she plays a media person. Bachpan se Alia ko shauq tha journalist ban ne ka (Alia wanted to be a journalist since she was a child). So, she is excited about that.

And there is another ‘first’ attached to Alia’ s participation in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. This is her first release after her motherhood. “She is very excited about that. But unlike her husband Ranbir Kapoor, she is not too keen on speaking about their baby in public,” said a source close to the couple.

Interestingly, Ranveer Singh plays a mithai maker in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. His Punjabi character comes from a family of mithali wallahs.

Directed by Karan Johar, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film is all set to release in theatres on July 28.
