On 14th January, Raj Kapoor's daughter and Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor's sister Ritu Nanda passed away, after a seven-year-long battle with cancer. Ritu, who also happened to be the mother-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan, was cremated on Tuesday, in Delhi. The Kapoors and the Bachchans flew to the capital city to pay their final respect.
Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were spotted at the venue. Ritu Nanda's nephews, Rima Jain's sons Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain also reached Delhi to pay her a final visit. Karan Johar and Gauri Khan, who happen to be close to both the families, arrived as well.
Hours after Ritu’s demise, Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram to fondly remember her with a handful of photos. She shared a photo of herself and Ritu, and wrote, 'My dearest may your soul Rest In Peace".
Later, we also saw her sharing a photo of Ritu with Ranbir Kapoor.
