It was the much anticipated night for the Nanda-Bachchan families as Agastya Nanda makes his debut this week with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. At the grand premiere of the film on Tuesday, everyone was present to support Agastya. Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan, Agastya’s parents Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Nikhil Nanda and sister Navya Naveli Nanda attended the grand premiere.

In one of the pictures, Amitabh Bachchan, and Abhishek Bachchan were seen twinning with Agastya Nanda. The photo was posted on the premiere night. As Agastya posed solo for the paparazzi, ‘mami’ Aishwarya was seen cheering for her nephew and told him that he should get used to posing solo from now onwards.

The film is an Indian adaptation of a Global IP, the iconic Archies Comics. The Archies, set in the 1960s in an Anglo-Indian community based in the fictional hill station town called Riverdale is a coming-of-age story that follows the lives of the town’s favourite set of teenagers- Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton. The film explores friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion.

The Archies is scheduled for global release on December 7, on Netflix.
