Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, set to host the 15th season of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, recently acknowledged his long-time makeup artist Deepak Sawant for his impeccable on-screen appearance. The candid moment was captured in a video shared by the show's makers on social media, displaying Big B's gratitude towards the talented artist.

In the video titled “#ABUnplugged ye version hai nirala, sabko dete hain #AmitabhBachchan ji unke kaam ka credit!”, the reel footage reveals Amitabh Bachchan seated in front of a computer on the set of KBC 15, as Deepak Sawant applies the finishing touches to his look. With warmth and appreciation, Big B acknowledges Deepak's contribution, stating, “Humara jo chehra hai na yeh sab inki badolat hai. Inka naam hai Deepak Sawant. Ye hamara chehra banate hai. Agar hum khoobsurat lag rahe hai to inki badolat.” (My face owes much to him. His name is Deepak Sawant. He creates my look. If I appear beautiful, it's because of him.)

Adding a touch of nostalgia, Amitabh shared, “Apko batade 40 saal se yeh hai humare saath.” (Let me tell you, he's been with us for 40 years.) The video captured Big B in a dapper black three-piece suit, complemented by a white shirt and white sports shoes.

Prior to this, the actor's stylist, Priya Patil, had shared insights into Amitabh's evolving fashion trends for the new season. She had expressed, “For the 15th Season of KBC, my mood board included the brief of keeping the look ‘new’ and ‘fresh.’ Keeping the classic look intact, we have gone a step ahead, and added newer elements to it.”

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan's cinematic journey continues to captivate audiences. His last appearance was in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai last year, where he shared the screen with Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, and Parineeti Chopra. The megastar is currently working on various projects, including Kalki 2898 AD helmed by Nag Ashwin, a sci-fi film featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Simultaneously, Bachchan is set to feature in Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84.
