So once I asked them to take me along, they asked if I would be scare. I said I just want to mimic Amitabh Bachchan. So in 1978 we went to National College (Bandra) young crowd, and there they announced that I would be presenting Amitabh Bachchan on stage. As soon as I stepped out the crows started hooting, and shouting me off the stage. I continued and said that I was going to re-enact a scene from Amar Akbar Anthony, but since I am not that much into comedy, I did a serious scene wherein Bachchan's comes to meet the priest and realises that the latter has been killed. This was my first mimicry of Amitabh Bachchan.”
