Ammy Virk, in an interview with News18 Showsha, disclosed that he was initially offered the role in the film Crew, which eventually went to Diljit Dosanjh. He quoted, "It feels really good. He is creating spaces for so many other people. He is doing so well in Bollywood. He is being offered films in Mumbai. If he isn’t available, then we get calls for the same (laughs). It hasn’t happened yet but yes, the opposite has happened. There was a movie I had to do but my dates weren’t available. I am talking about Crew. After that, they went to Diljit Paaji."
