Karan Johar, in the year 2012, introduced three new faces to the Hindi cinema with his film, Student of the Year. Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan have, since then, have made a place themselves in the industry. The filmmaker, earlier this year, kick-started his next production and will be introducing a new set of actors in his class of 2018. The sequel to the film Student of the Year 2 comprises debutantes Tara Sutaria, Ananya Pandey, and action hero Tiger Shroff. The stage is set as Dharma Productions prepares for yet another millennial love story.

While the film is currently in the shooting stage, the debutante actresses have become pretty close friends. Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday often hang out while not shooting the film. Now, joining them is none other than their hero, Tiger Shroff. This past Sunday, the trio got together to have a good time and teased the fans what can they expect from this upcoming love triangle. Tiger was dressed in casual whereas Ananya wore a jumper dress with sneakers. Tara looked chic in a crop top and pants. Ananya captioned the image, “Love triangles aren’t always a bad thing ❤️????????‍???? (missing u @punitdmalhotra).”

The first schedule of SOTY 2 went on floor earlier this year and they wrapped up second schedule in Mussoorie. The film’s producer Karan Johar’s protégé Punit Malhotra is directing Student of the Year 2. The much-awaited sequel will reportedly have cameo of the original actors but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. With that being said, it seems like the summer of 2019 will be full of excitement. The film will release on May 10, 2019.
