Anil Kapoor undergoes “Serious physical transformation” for Animal, Fighter at 66; says, “Switching between two completely opposite roles”

Anil Kapoor will be next seen in Animal, which is scheduled to release in December, followed by Fighter.

Actor Anil Kapoor has undergone an epic body transformation for his upcoming films Animal and Fighter. He recently shared a string of pictures on social media, showcasing his new physique.

In one of the pictures, Kapoor can be seen striking a pose inside a bathtub, flaunting his chiselled abs and muscular arms. In another picture, he is seen working out in the gym and lifting weights.

Kapoor's fans and friends were quick to comment on his pictures, praising his dedication and hard work. Actor Varun Dhawan commented, "It's easy to do all this when ur just 18 years old Anil when u reach ur 30,s it gets tougher lol." Kapoor's daughter, Sonam Kapoor, commented, "Dad," followed by a laughing emoticon. Farah Khan commented, "Papajiiiiiiii."

Meanwhile, Fighter director Siddharth Anand also dropped a heartfelt comment for the veteran actor, which read, “From being a fan-boy watching you in awe in Tezaab, Parinda, Ram Lakhan etc to now directing you in FIGHTER, the journey has been simply inexplicable. You brought Rocky to life. And made him someone only YOU could! Can’t wait to get on set with you on something as spectacular,” followed by a red heart emoticon.

Kapoor is known for his fitness regime and has always maintained a healthy lifestyle. However, his transformation from Animal and Fighter is particularly impressive, given his age.

In Animal, Kapoor plays the role of Ranbir Kapoor's father. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. Animal is scheduled to be released on December 1, 2023.

In Fighter, Kapoor will be seen alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and is scheduled to release on January 24, 2024.
