Anurag Kashyap reviews Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan; says, “Bahut Khatarnaak action hai”, watch

Among many others, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap reviewed Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release Pathaan.

Finally, after a four-year-long wait the much-awaited film of 2023, Pathaan has hit the big screens and it is indeed a celebration for all the SRKians across the country. The Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone starrer have a record-breaking opening. Among many others, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap also watched the film and shared his review.

On Wednesday, the critically acclaimed director spoke to the media post attending a screening of Pathaan. In his review, Kashyap said, “Shah Rukh Khan itna haseen, itna sundar pehle kabhi laga nahi. Toh hum toh usko dekhne aaye the aur dil khush ho gaya. Aur itna khatarnaka action hai, Shah Rukh ke liye pehli baar aisa role hai. Mujhe nahi lagta unhone is tarah ka action pehle kiya hai (Shah Rukh Khan has never looked this beautiful and we came to watch him. Such dangerous action, this is the first of a kind role for Shah Rukh. I don’t think he has done anything like it before).”

“Aisi film mai dekh sakta hu, bana nahi skta (I can only watch a film like Pathaan, I can’t make it),” he further added. He went on to state that Pathaan is an important film for all of us and “we need to watch it and make it super hit.”

Pathaan marked the return of Shah Rukh Khan to the silver screen. Besides this, Shah Rukh will be seen with Deepika Padukone after eight years. The film features SRK as a spy along with John Abraham as the villain.
