Asha Negi, who played the role of Sushant Singh Rajput’s daughter on the show, recently posted a video about Pavitra Rishta being available on the channel’s OTT platform. She thanked everyone for showering love on her when she played the role of Poorvi and it did not sit well with one of the fans that she did not mention Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor died by suicide two weeks ago and needless to say, it left the television industry shook to the very core.

Asha thanked everyone by captioning her video as, “It was a life-changing experience to be a part of #pavitrarishta. Working with the best cast and crew, this show was bound to be the no. 1 show at the time..I received a lot of love from the fans as Poorvi and still cherish my days working with the team”. A fan commented, “You never spoke or mentioned anything for Sushant”, to which Asha gave a befitting reply by saying that, “Is it that important to follow the trend and mention about how you feel on social media? Can a person not grieve in private?”
