Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant on 30 December met with an accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway near Roorkee following his car hitting the road divider. As soon as the news of the mishap was broken, a bunch of celebrities wished for his speedy recovery. Now, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has also reacted to his accident and wished him well.

It all happened when Shah Rukh Khan hosted an AskSRK session on Wednesday. During his interactive session, a fan asked the star to “send good wishes to Rishabh pant for his speedy recovery.” Responding to the same, King Khan wrote, “Inshaallah he will be well soon. He is a fighter and a very tough guy.”

For the unversed, the 25-year -old Indian cricket narrowly escaped death after his high-end vehicle smashed into a road barrier and caught fire on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Reportedly, Pant will undergo surgery and subsequent procedures for ligament tears and will continue to be monitored by the BCCI Medical Team throughout his recovery and rehabilitation. The DDCA official told ANI, “Pant’s further treatment will be taken care of by the BCCI now. Jay Shah himself will keep a close eye on his treatment. If needed, the board will send him to the United Kingdom.” Earlier, BCCI said, “Pant has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, and toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back.”
