Ayushmann Khurrana resumes shooting for An Action Hero; treats fans with a BTS pic : Bollywood News

A few days after breaking the internet with his shirtless photo, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is again grabbing the attention of his fans. For the unversed, Khurrana shared a photo on Friday, in which he was seen shirtless. In the caption, he dropped a hint about his “return”, and it seems he is finally returning to a set for the shooting of his next project, titled An Action Hero.

On Sunday late at night, Ayush took to his official social media handle and shared a photo, which features a camera focusing on him. He looked dapper in an all-black avatar. Interestingly, he is facing a camera trolley in the shot. Giving the context of the photo to his 16.8M followers on Instagram, he wrote, “Wait for it. Just wait for it. / Lights. Camera. Action!”. He also hashtagged “December” and “Action”. To conclude his write-up, he added, “Saari raat main laayiyaan”.

As soon as the picture was posted, the Vicky Donor actor’s fans and industry friends chimed in the comment section. While his wife and author Tahira Kashyap dropped heart eyes and fire emoticons, actor Ali Mercchant wrote, “Wowww”. Meanwhile, a section of fans commented, “can’t wait”.

Produced by Aanand L Rai and directed by Anirudh Iyer, Ayushmann will play the lead An Action Hero. Popular actor Jaideep Ahlawat will also play a significant role in the upcoming film. The team started rolling in January in London. It is slated to be released on December 2 this year.

Apart from An Action Hero, Khurrana has a bunch of projects in his kitty including the sequel of his film Dream Girl. The forthcoming sequel will feature Ananya Panday as the leading lady. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film will be produced under the production banner of Ektaa R Kapoor. Dream Girl 2 is slated to release on June 23, 2023.
