Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk attended the trailer launch of their film Bad Newz in Mumbai. Ammy Virk raised laughs with his intro speech.

Bad Newz trailer launch: Ammy Virk brings the house down: “Punjabi films ki shoot mein hum alarm nahin lagate. Jab uth gaye, tab shoot pe chale jaate the!”

Ammy Virk began by saying, “Triptii said that her Bollywood film is coming after a long time. The same applies to me. I am blessed whenever I come to Mumbai for work. Whoever I have worked with – Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn or Vicky Kaushal paaji – are great and they are all Punjabi!”

Realizing that some people on the stage are not Punjabi, Ammy Virk clarified, “Even those who are not Punjabi have been great!”

He continued, “Working on this film was fun. The credit for it goes to director Anand Tiwari. He treated us like friends.”

Ammy Virk then brought the house down as he revealed, “I believed in the myth that since Bollywood films cost Rs.100-200 crores to be made, the makers must be shooting aaram se and taking 50-100 days to shoot. Punjabi film ki shoot mein hum alarm nahin lagate. Jab uth gaye, tab shoot pe chale jaate the!”

He added, "But in Bollywood, films are shot at 7 AM. I thought, ‘Aise hi likha hoga. Jaayenge toh sab 10-11 baje hi’. But here, the unit members were knocking on my door at 6:30 AM! I was like ‘Yeh toh bahut hi professional hai. Phans gaye hum toh’!”

Also present at the trailer launch were director Anand Tiwari and producers Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta Amritpal Singh Bindra and Manish Meghani.
