Host Bharti Singh went emotional after she received a compliment from the legendary singer Asha Bhosle.

Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is the one of the longest-running singing reality show that has lasted for almost 3 decades. After introducing some talented singers like Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Shekhar Ravijani, Kunal Ganjawala, Raja Hasan, Vaishali Mhade, among others, the channel kicked off with a new version of the show to give young singing prodigies a chance to shine. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is now in its ninth season and viewers are getting to watch a fresh panel of judges this time with Shankar Mahadevan, Anu Malik, and Neeti Mohan guiding the young singing sensation and Bharti Singh as the entertaining host. And this week joining them will be legendary singer Asha Bhosle.

While the top 13 contestants have been mesmerizing one and all with their fantastic singing, this weekend, viewers will have a gala time in the forthcoming episode that will feature Asha Bhosle as the special guest on the show. During the show, the legendary singer couldn’t help but compliment and reward each contestant in her own unique way. In the same episode, she also went on to reveal that she is a big fan of the host Bharti Singh and appreciated her journey in the industry. Getting a compliment like that from the legendary singer of the industry left Bharti Singh in tears and emotional on the set!

Asha Bhosle said, “I am a big fan of yours, and trust me when I say this because I have never lied in my whole life. I have seen your work and your talent from the start, the way you have maintained and carried yourself throughout your journey is commendable. Whenever I have seen you on any show, I have always laughed at your jokes. You’re a very nice person.” Well, that’s not it, after Asha Bhosle praised Bharti for her work, everyone on the set including the judges and jury members gave her a standing ovation.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs airs on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 pm, only on Zee TV.
