Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar, in a candid conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, shared insights into her early days in the film industry, shedding light on the financial challenges she faced during the frequent award functions. The actor revealed that, following her debut, she garnered numerous Best Debut awards, leading to her attendance at nearly 15 award ceremonies.

Recalling those initial days, Bhumi expressed gratitude for the support she received from a friend who worked as a stylist. Remarkably, the stylist did not charge any fee for the first two years, assisting Bhumi in navigating the challenging world of glamour and fashion. The actor vividly recounted using her friend's car for commuting to various events and award functions.

Breaking down the cost associated with styling, Bhumi emphasized the substantial expenses involved. She said, “Styling is a very big thing and it’s a very expensive process. If you think about it, your styling will cost around Rs 15k to 20k, the car rental will be around Rs 15k to 20k and hair and makeup another Rs 20k. For a regular person spending Rs 75k to 80k for an event, which is basic, it’s a lot. How can I go to my mother and say do this? I hustled then and I hustle now for different things.”

Addressing the realities of her profession, Bhumi mentioned her willingness to prioritize work over material possessions. She shared, "I don't care if my car is four years old. Maybe I will use it for a few more years." The actor emphasized her love for her craft and how her dedication to acting has remained unwavering over time.

On the professional front, Bhumi Pednekar was recently seen in the film Thank You For Coming," alongside Shehnaaz Gill and Kusha Kapila, under the direction of Karan Boolani.
