Bhumi Pednekar is a perfect sister! Bhumi’s sister Samiksha was completing her BBA LLB (lawyer’s degree) from Jindal Global University in Delhi (a leading University for Law Degree) and the actress ensured that she took a day off to ensure that she would be there for her convocation ceremony.

“It was a very special day for Samiksha Bhumi and their mum, she simply wanted to be there and cheer for her the loudest. She ensured that she cleared up her calendar so that she could keep Tuesday free to travel to Delhi for her sister’s convocation! Of course, Samiksha was thrilled with the surprise. Bhumi and her mom cheered her on during the event and they also celebrated post. The family went out for a lovely dinner before flying back to Mumbai,” says a source.

Bhumi Pednekar even shared some glimpses from her sister’s graduation on her Instagram. Sharing a picture of her graduate sister, she wrote, “5 years of your hard work,dedication,love and tons of studies comes to end with you becoming a LAWYER. Finally a graduated @samikshapednekar .So proud of you ???????? First day of your new life. Congratulations samu.”

On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar will be next seen in Son Chiriya alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Just this morning, it was announced that the actress has joined the ensemble cast of Takht starring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. The magnum opus project is being helmed by Karan Johar and is set for 2020 release.
