Bigg Boss 16: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Priyanka Choudhary get into an ugly spat

Bigg Boss 16 saw an ugly spat between Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary over food distribution.

Bigg Boss 16 is about showing the different sides of various contestants whether they are good, bad, or ugly. In the recent episode, we saw Colors’ two favourite faces Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Priyanka Choudhary indulge in a verbal spat over food. It doesn’t come as a surprise, since from the first episode; fans sensed undercurrents of dislike between Priyanka and Nimrit. Interestingly, both actresses dominated the channel with their prime-time shows like Udaariyan and Choti Sardarni. And this time around, the two actresses were seen fighting over the quantity of food provided to contestants in the house.

The fight started when Priyanka Choudhary was seen discussing food portions and their distribution with Tina Dutta. According to the Udaariyan actress, she was given a lesser portion compared to Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Shiv Thakare. Needless to say, her comment instigated Nimrit and she lashed out at Priyanka calling her petty and even accused her of dragging her name unnecessarily. Meanwhile, Priyanka claimed that Nimrit is trying to garner ‘footage’ out of everything inside the house. This comment angered Nimrit who then threatened to slap Priyanka and even hurled abuses at her for passing such a comment.

Soon after the fight, while Priyanka confronted her close friend and co-actor Ankit Gupta for not standing up with her during the fight, and got more upset when her Udaariyan co-star fed a piece of his birthday cake to Nimrit. This only added further fuel to the fire. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who was one of the least controversial contestants on the show, has slowly started to open up and showcase some of her different avatars. On the other hand, Nimrit has always showcased her competitive side to win the game.

Bigg Boss 16 airs from Mondays to Fridays at 10 PM and every Saturdays and Sundays at 9.30 PM only on COLORS. The show is also available for streaming on Voot.
