Ajay Devgn became a victim of mishap on the sets of the Rohit Shetty film while filming an intense action sequence.

With Singham Again release right around the corner, superstar Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Rohit Shetty are on an extensive promotional spree. The duo arrived on Bigg Boss 18 for a special weekend episode and reunited with the host Salman Khan, amid rumours of the latter doing a cameo in their upcoming action entertainer. Considering the same, fans were excited to see the duo collaborate on the small screen wherein Ajay and Salman also showcased a glimpse of their off-screen camaraderie. During the conversation about the film, Devgn also addressed the eye injury he suffered on the sets of the film.

Salman Khan was aware of the incident and the duo shared details of their fans and audience wherein the host revealed that Ajay Devgn suffered this mishap due to the bad timing of an action sequence for Singham Again that went terribly wrong. It seems that the superstar not only had to shoot but also undergo extensive treatment because he is said to have lost his vision for a span of couple of months. "Ajay showed me a shot. There was a mistiming, and a person came to beat him with a stick, and its timing went off. So it straight hit him in the eye.", Salman mentioned as he made a reference to the accident on Singham Again sets.

Furthermore, during the discussion, Ajay elaborated and shared, “Do-teen mahine toh vision chali gayi thi (I lost my vision for about two to three months). I went through a little surgery also." Salman too quipped, "Action karoge toh ye sab hota rehta hai (Such things are quite common when we shoot action sequences)." And Ajay went on to add, "Abhi toh phir bhi kaafi asaan hogaya hai aajkal k ladko k liye (In fact, it has become easier for the new generation of actors these days)."

Bigg Boss 18 airs from Monday to Friday at 10 pm, and on Saturdays as well as Sundays at 9:30 pm, on Colors TV along with a 24 hour channel available on JioCinema app.
