BTS members Suga and RM make a great duo on radio as they discuss AGUST D 2, IU collab, their track ‘Respect’

BTS members have been blessing the fans by actively participating in live streams, social media, and being more interactive while encouraging everyone to stay indoors. Suga has brought back his radio segment on the app, VLive. On Saturday, he had RM has a guest on his show as they discussed various top, and all thanks to ARMY translators, it's always easy to understand the live sessions faster!

After a lot of discussions about how they are spending their days, they decided to speak about the Korean folktale, "The Hare's Liver." Taking questions from the fans, when asked about the much-awaited collab of Suga with South Korean sensation IU, RM said that he had already heard the track 'Eight' and he described it as a perfect song for long drives. He said he would listen to it during cycling too.

Suga, who has worked with several artists, mentioned that he has been listening to it lately and the song came out well. He did mention that he usually doesn't listen to his creations so often but he has been often listening to 'Eight'.

Speaking another of his creation which is his second mixtape after 2016's 'AGUST D'. Suga revealed that he was supposed to release his second mixtape, tentatively titled AGUST D2 (since the new title is yet to be decided), last year in September. But, it did not pan out as he wasn't satisfied and wanted to make changes. So, he said that everyone will have to wait since he is recreating some portions to perfect the mixtape before he officially decides to drop it.

During the broadcast, the duo also spoke about their track 'Respect' from their fourth LP 'Map Of The Soul: 7' and gave a behind the scenes glimpse of it. RM mentioned that in the earlier sample, Suga had added swear/slang words in the track which he had previously done in his 'AGUST D' album. He said that it didn't fit so they had to let go of it. But, they quipped that the sample was so funny that it felt like a comedy segment to them and they had a gala time recording it. They said that the earlier version was funnier. Suga said that usually he takes a few pages to write lyrics but he wrote everything on one page itself. (Now, if they could secretly drop it somewhere...).

Recently, all seven members - RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook - went to a strawberry farm together. They had a great time and Suga ever shared a photo from their visit. RM called Jin as the 'Strawberry Captain/leader'.

They have been discussing their next album in live streams. They spoke about how Jimin is Project Manager and is doing so well!

RM revealed that he has read half of Carl Jung's 'Map Of The Soul' whereas Suga is Freud’s 'The Interpretation of Dreams'.

RM was reminded of James Thurber's quote, “Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness.” He said that there are times you look back and get angry over things as he would sometimes wonder if he should have doubled the vocals. But, he chose not to get angry anymore.

Furthermore, he spoke about they miss the fans a lot and these days sometimes he cries listening to 'Spring Day'.

All in all, it was a wholesome content everyone needed during the weekend.
