BTS’ V reveals members recently gathered at SUGA’s house to listen to each-other’s solo work: ‘Great to see how passionately we’re making music’

BTS members are currently on hiatus as a group but focusing on solo music releases.

Pop titans BTS’ member Kim Taehyung, aka V is the cover star of the October issue of the fashion magazine Vogue Korea. The magazine released the long-awaited interview on September 19 introducing the artist as someone who has a captivating style of his own that inspires designers.

V shared his take on why the world needs music by saying, “I think music helps us all breathe. I don’t think I would want to live if music was taken out of my life. I believe it’s music that amplifies all emotions, including comfort, fun, and feeling touched, in all patterns of my life, such as when I’m going to work, working, leaving work, and eating.”

“I’m the type to cherish my relationships with others,” V talked about his social butterfly personality. “I originally like people and I think all artists, directors, writers, and reporters are precious. In the past, I did get hurt and start to shy away from people only viewing me as V or as a connection, but I still like people. The people around me now are the precious people who have made me who I am today.”

BTS is currently on a hiatus as a group and focusing on solo promotions. Sharing how the band members continue to support each other in their solo endeavors, V explained, “We really support each other. Recently, the members went to SUGA’s house to share the solo songs we each made. Some would dance and we’d all say, ‘it’s good, it’s good!' I don’t know if it’s because the members are preparing new music of their own colour, but it’s great to see how passionately, actively, and diligently we’re making music and loving one another.”

“For starters, everything ARMY likes is what I like, so I want to try everything. There has been talk about a radio appearance so I want to try radio,” V said revealing the other fields, he might have his eyes on, to try out.

V also talked about feeling slightly restricted as a member of a group sharing, “I felt really thankful that ARMY perfectly understood how we felt. Thank you for supporting us so much. Thanks to you, I’ve been able to lighten that load a bit.”

BTS members have all released collaborations in recent times. V released his OST ‘Christmas Tree’ for the Korean drama Our Beloved Summer. V was also featured on Benny Blanco’s track ‘Bad Decisions’ along with Jin, Jimin and Jungkook. RM recently did a song collaboration with Balming Tiger on ‘Sexy Nukim’; SUGA collaborated with PSY on ‘That That’ whereas Jimin released an OST ‘With You’ with Ha Sung Woon for K-drama Our Blues; Jin worked on viral solo track ‘Super Tuna’ and an OST ‘Yours’ for Korean drama Jirisan. J-Hope was the first one to drop his solo album in July 2022 with Jack In The Box with two lead tracks ‘MORE’ and ‘ARSON’. He will release his collaboration ‘Rush Hour’ with Crush on September 22.
