English singer-songwriter Charli XCX announces forthcoming collaboration with South Korean group SEVENTEEN’s Vernon by sharing a clip of remix preview for her new single ‘Beg For You’, featuring Vernon.
The British pop star shared a 30-second snippet of the upcoming remix of ‘Beg For You’ on Twitter yesterday (February 23), tagging SEVENTEEN’s official Twitter page and Rina Sawayama in caption. The rework of her hit January single, which originally featured Rina Sawayama, features Vernon harmonizing with Charli XCX on its chorus.

The collaboration comes shortly after back-and-forth Twitter interaction between both Charli XCX and SEVENTEEN, which began when the former asked her fans who they’d like to see her collaborate with next. SEVENTEEN fans began suggesting a collab with Vernon, who is a longtime fan of the British popstar.
While the release date for the new remix is yet to be announced, fans have finally gotten just what they asked for. The last update provided by Charli XCX about the release was earlier this week when she replied to outlet NME’s tweet asking “when’s the collab coming?”, to which she replied, “actually kinda soon...”

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN made their last comeback with Attacca. They are gearing up for their fanmeeting next month.
