In the past few months, TV actress Charu Asopa and her husband Rajeev Sen have been hitting the headlines for their constant tiffs. Amid their ugly split, Charu has now bagged a project and is excited to get back to work.

Speaking of her comeback, the TV actress said “I can’t wait to be on the sets and from the time I got to know that I have been finalised for this show I am very excited. I am very nervous not because of the work but about how I will manage everything. There’s now Ziana (her little daughter) in my life and she will be at home. This will be the first time when I’ll be away shooting for so long. I know I’ve taken care of everything and managed everything but still at the back of my mind there’s nervousness.” to ETimes.

She further spoke about how people would talk about her weight gain. “As everyone knows, I was very thin and now when they see me the first thing they say is ‘oh you have gained weight,’” told the portal.

Recently, Charu has already shifted to a new flat with her daughter. For the unversed, the relationship between Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen has been difficult for a while. At the beginning of the year, the couple filed for divorce, but then changed their minds and decided to give their marriage another shot. However, things between them deteriorated once more a few weeks ago.

Now that the pair is no longer together, Charu has accused Sushmita Sen's brother of adultery and physical abuse. For the unversed, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa tied the knot on June 7, 2019, in Goa as per Bengali and Rajasthani rituals. Two years after their marriage, the couple has embraced parenthood and welcomed a baby girl, whom they have named Ziana.
