Before a film goes on floor, the makers of the project along with the cast and crew gather together for a muharat. Well, taking this a step further, Akshay Kumar who had already given his nod to starring the film Mogul based on the story of Gulshan Kumar, he decided to make the official signing of the contract extra special.

In fact Akshay Kumar who was shooting in Indore for his film at the famous Maheshwar temple invited the film’s producer Bhushan Kumar, head honcho of T-Series to officially sign the film contract at the famous 300-year-old Lord Shiva temple in Maheshwar. Commenting on the same, Bhushan Kumar added that signing the biopic based on his father’s life inside a Shiv temple was surreal and that there were no words to express what he felt.

For the uninitiated Mogul, is based on Gulshan Kumar’s rags-to-riches story, from being a household name with his devotional music to becoming the one-man music industry with T-Series. Produced by Gulshan Kumar's wife Sudesh Kumari, the film will be directed by Subhash Kapoor and will star Akshay Kumar as the music mogul.
