The nation bid adieu to one of the finest star Reema Lagoo on May 18, 2017. The veteran actress, who had worked across the Hindi and Marathi film and TV industries, suffered a cardiac arrest and breathed her last around 3.15 am on May 18.

Celebrities from different sectors were left in shock after the untimely demise of Reema Lagoo. In the honour of her legacy, Indian dairy cooperative Amul paid a special tribute. Amul has always had their versions of any pressing topic that is political or social or is trending on social media. Amul, who have this photo segment called Amul Topical, shared a tribute remembering Reema Lagoo and her incredible contribution to the cinema. Remembering her work, he captioned the photo, "#Amul Topical: Tribute to Bollywood's much loved 'Ma'." The tagline on the tribute read, "Hum Aapke Hai Forever."

Reema Lagoo was one of the beloved actresses in the film industry and was Bollywood's favourite mother. She had worked in several films including Hum Saath Saath Hai, Hum Aapke Hai Koun, Maine Pyaar Kiya, Kal Ho Na Ho, Vaastav among others. She was starring in Mahesh Bhatt's TV show Naamkaran before her sudden death.
