Emraan Hashmi recently announced that he turned author with a book that deals with the struggles, emotions and trauma of a cancer patient. The actor has now chosen a unique way of selecting the cover for his debut book, 'The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer'.

Posting images of several pictures that was clicked with his son, Emraan also shared a video requesting his fans to vote for the best cover, saying, "Help me in selecting the cover of my book 'The Kiss of Life : How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer' Watch out for a picture every hour for the next 8 hours. The picture with the maximum likes will become the cover of my book." Emraan's son Ayan was diagnosed with cancer just a couple of years ago and the actor even took him to Toronto for an extensive treatment. Ayan who has now recovered and leading a normal life is an inspiration for Emraan's upcoming book and also the several cancer detection camps that the actor has decided to set up across the city.

Published by Penguin India, the book is co-authored by Bilal Siddiqui.
