The country is celebrating Republic Day, the waves of patriotism have hit the tinsel town as well. Many Bollywood biggies including Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeshkar, Aamir Khan have wished their fans and followers on Republic Day via social media.

The new generation's favourite on-screen couple, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt shared a picture of holding the Indian flag. Alia wrote, "Happy Republic Day! A day to remember and celebrate our Unity in Diversity. Freedom in mind, pride in our hearts."

Varun also shared another photo with Alia and wished his fans with a message that read, "Wishing every one a very happy #RepublicDay. We have a lot to be proud. The future is indian."

On the work front, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are pumped for their third film together after Student of the Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Badrinath Ki Dulhania's teaser of the title track will be out on January 30 at 11 am. The film is slated to release on March 10, 2017.
